I am a real boy. If you are a solipsist, I'm sure you will argue with that point. But anyway, that aside, my name is Duncan, and I live in Kanata (part of Ottawa now). I own a ridiculous number of PS2 games I don't really play now that I own a 360 (DDR being the most notable exception of course) and I'm always up for a good game of StarCraft.
My bike is almost constantly unusable for some reason, so if I don't have a vehicle, rollerblades are how I get around. The problem with that is that I can't find my allen keys, so my wheels are in severe need of a rotation.
I played hockey (badly) up to this year, and I've joined my high school's track and x-country teams basically ever year, cuz distance running is where it's at yo. Organized sports are cool and all, but in all honesty, I'd be down for a good game of manhunt or grounders or even just climbing stuff over organized sports any day. Except perhaps thursdays... Thursday is a good day for organized sports.
What else can I say about myself? Well, I'm 18 (my birthday is January 1st), and I'm hoping that I end up going to university next year. I say hoping because I need a 75 average to go to Queen's, and I have severely fucked myself over this/last semester, so studying for exams is gonna be a bitch. And I'll probably need help, having never really seriously studied for an exam before in my life. This time though I'm serious about it, cuz I know it matters.
My house is often the focal point of activities on weekends and holidays, with most of my friends just walking in through the side door as opposed to ringing the bell, which is good, because in my house the doorbell is frequently ignored, as is the phone. These activities range from playing DDR and other videogames, watching movies, playing pool, and just chilling out to going on random expeditions to other places, such as outside or the movies or climbing.
Since I don't really remember what I've typed so far, I think I'll stop for now, just to avoid repetition. Oh yeah, also, just because I like mentioning the most mundane aspects of life, I am currently at work updating websites and writing PHP scripts (shoot me, please, for the love of god) and listening to Imogen Heap... But perhaps it's time for some MCR. Always a good choice, but I don't think I have I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love here, and I wanna listen to Headfirst for Halos.
